THE AMISH PEDDLER

 

From the North:

From North, take I-79S to the Grove City Exit and follow Rt. 208 (You are approximately 12 miles from The Amish Peddler.) The Grove City Outlets are located at this exit, and several eating and housing accommodations. As you continue west on Rt. 208 you will go through Leesburg and Volant and into the town of New Wilmington. (From Volant, we are approximately 2.75 miles). There is a big blue sign and a rock at the front of the parking lot. The Amish Peddler is on the east edge of town.

 

From the East

From East (Butler area), take Rt. 422 to Rt. 19 exit. Take Rt. 19 north through Harlensburg to a road sign for Westminster College and Potter Run Road (approximately 9.5 miles). Turn left onto Potter Run and continue into the village of Volant (approximately 2.3 miles). When you reach the stop sign in Volant, continue straight. You are now on Rt. 208. Continue on Rt. 208 toward New Wilmington (approximately 2.75 miles). The Amish Peddler is on the right-hand side. There is a big blue sign and a rock at the front of the parking lot.

Or - From I-80 East Coming west, exit I-80 at I-79 and go south to Grove City exit, Rt. 208 West. That is where the Grove City Outlets are located. There are also several housing and eating accommodations at this exit of I-79. (You are approximately 12 miles from The Amish Peddler.) At that point you would follow Rt. 208 through the little town of Leesburg (Rt. 19) and continue through the town of Volant. In Leesburg, Rt. 208 takes a short turn left and then right again (approximately 7 miles to New Wilmington). In Volant, Rt. 208 turns to the right. Just be careful to watch the road signs. Then Rt. 208 leads directly into New Wilmington (approximately 2.75 miles from Volant). The Amish Peddler is on the right-hand side. There is a big blue sign and a rock at the front of the parking lot.

From the West:

From West, take Rt. 224 to I-60 North. Exit at Rt. 208 near the village of Pulaski. Follow Rt. 208 across Rt. 18 and through the town of New Wilmington. There is a big blue sign and a rock at the front of the parking lot. The Amish Peddler is on the eastern edge of town.

Or take I-80 east to the first exit in Pennsylvania. You can take the ramp to Sharon and you will find several motel/hotels at this exit if you want accommodations. (There are no eating or housing accommodations at the Pulaski exit.) If you get off at this exit, you would want to take Rt. 18 south through the village of West Middlesex and continue south to Rt. 208 by the cheese plant. Continue through the small town of New Wilmington. The Amish Peddler is on the eastern edge of New Wilmington with a large blue sign and a rock in front of the parking lot. It would be on your left as you are leaving town.

Or take I-80 east to the first exit in Pennsylvania. That is also I–60. Continue south of I-60 to Rt. 208, the small village of Pulaski. There are no eating or housing accommodations at the Pulaski exit. Follow Rt. 208 east approximately 7 miles to the town of New Wilmington. You will cross Rt. 18 at the cheese plant that used to be owned by the Amish. Continue through the small town of New Wilmington. The Amish Peddler is on the eastern edge of New Wilmington with a large blue sign and a rock in front of the parking lot. It would be on your left as you are leaving town.

From the South:

From South, take I 79 north. Exit at Rt. 422 west and travel approximately 2 miles to route 19. Take route 19 north through Harlensburg to a road sign for Westminster College and Potter Run Road (approximately 9.5 miles). Turn left on to Potter Run and continue into the village of Volant (approximately 2.3 miles). When you reach the stop sign in Volant, continue straight. You will now be on Rt. 208. If you want to go to the Grove City Outlets also. From the South, take I 79 north. Exit at Grove City, Rt. 208 and go west on Rt. 208. (You will actually be going a little further north and then coming south, but you will be going to the outlets.) You are approximately 12 miles from The Amish Peddler. At that point you would follow Rt. 208 through the little town of Leesburg (Rt. 19) and continue through the town of Volant. In Leesburg, 208 takes a short turn left and then right again (approximately 7 miles to New Wilmington). In Volant, Rt. 208 turns to the left. Just be careful to watch the road signs. IN NEW WILMINGTON

The Amish Peddler is just on the eastern edge of New Wilmington with a large blue sign and a rock in front of the parking lot. We are located across from the back entrance to Westminster College just past the NAPA and AGWAY stores if you are coming from the east. If you are coming from the west, continue through town and we are the last property on the left within the borough limits. There is a big blue sign and a rock at the front of the parking lot.
