Our hutches and buffets are made from solid oak, cherry, hickory, quarter sawn white oak, walnut or maple.  . Our Amish craftsmen use the best wood they can find, and it is kiln dried so there is no worry of splitting or warping. All drawers are dove tailed. It takes about 8-12 weeks to have your hutch made.

	Heritage Hutches are solid wood except the backs and drawer bottoms.  They have dovetailed drawers, one adjustable shelf in bottom unit, cathedral raised panel doors in bottom unit, adjustable glass shelves with plate groove in top unit, beveled glass cathedral doors in top unit, and beveled glass in sides and partitions in top unit. The glass shelves are never longer than two doors wide because the Amish man does not know how much weight you will want to put on them. So, if you have a three-door hutch top, there will be a beveled glass partition between doors two and three. If you have a four door hutch top, there will be a beveled glass partition between doors one and two, and between doors three and four.
	Country Hutches are solid wood except backs and drawer bottoms.  They have dovetailed drawers, one adjustable wood shelf in bottom unit, raised panel doors in bottom unit, wood sides and partitions in top unit, one adjustable wood shelf in top unit, and flat glass in doors in top unit.
	Corner Hutches are solid wood except backs and drawer bottoms.  They have dovetailed drawers, one adjustable wood shelf in bottom unit, raised panel doors in bottom unit, wood sides and partitions in top unit, adjustable wood shelves in top unit, flat glass in doors in top unit.

Bavarian Hutches are solid wood except backs and drawer bottoms.  They have dovetailed drawers, one adjustable wood shelf in bottom unit, raised panel doors in bottom unit, wood sides and partitions in top unit, one adjustable wood shelf in top unit, and flat glass in doors in top unit.
Shaker Hutches are solid wood except backs and drawer bottoms.  They have dovetailed drawers, one adjustable wood shelf in bottom unit, raised panel doors in bottom unit, wood sides and partitions in top unit, adjustable wood shelves in top unit, flat glass in doors in top unit.

Each type of hardwood has its own characteristic color and grain patterns. No two trees are alike; no piece of wood looks exactly like another in coloration or grain variety. For this reason, solid hardwood furniture in the picture may not be identical to the furniture delivered to your home. Your furniture is one-of-a-kind. Trees grow limbs, absorb minerals and other essential elements, creating the knots, various grain shading, and other character marks you may see in your hardwood furniture. Each piece of solid hardwood furniture is unique. Color and grain variations are natural expressions of the real thing. Our craftsmen try to find the best solid hardwood available for their work.

United States hardwoods are crafted to create furniture of heirloom quality by some of our Amish craftsmen. When you choose solid hardwood furniture, you are investing in the special value of natural materials. Since they come from nature, hardwoods have character that no manmade material can duplicate. Each piece of hardwood furniture is one-of-a-kind, and it will respond naturally to changes in your home's temperature and humidity.  Solid hardwoods are slowly and carefully dried before they are used in furniture.

There are many variations of styles and options available.  This Amish man is very well known for his quality, and we have no problem standing behind his work. However, because he is so good, he is also very busy and will need approximately two - three months to complete your order.

Solid hardwood furniture is easy to repair and refinish because there are no substitute materials where you can't see them. Since accidental dents and scratches do happen, solid hardwood furniture is a study choice .  .  . especially if you have young children. A little bit of tender loving care will go a long way toward enhancing your enjoyment and protecting your solid hardwood furniture investment, not only for you, but for another generation to enjoy.
