BOOKCASES
Our bookcases may be made
to order on a special request or purchased as they are shown.
The bookcase
sides and front are solid oak, the shelves are 3/4" oak plywood to allow for
expansion and contraction. The shelves are faced with solid oak on the
front. The back is 1/4" oak plywood. All shelves are adjustable. All shelves
are 10" deep - inside measurement.
Crown molding
will add approximately two inches to each side, and the front, when used. It may be put on
the front only; on the front and on the sides; or on the front and one side only
if you want to butt two of the
bookcases together or butt it up against a wall.

or cherry. |

Note that the piece
across the top is straight when the crown molding is used, and scalloped when
the crown molding is not included.
The bottom is scalloped on both styles, but may be straight if
requested.
The
measurements are from the outside to outside across the front, not
including the crown molding.
The
crown molding would add approximately 4" additional overall, but
the actual bookcase size would be as shown on the price
list. Measurements are outside from side to side.

We also have a wall
unit bookcase available as shown in the picture above. It is made
by another Amish man, and has different feature. It has doors on
the bottom as a regular feature. Other options are shown below on
the price list. They can be made to stand alone, have molding on
one side and front to butt up against another one, and entertainment
center, or a wall.
The choices are made by you.
These are available

walnut, hickory or maple. |
